It's about a 90 minute drive from O-G, and about a 2 hour and twenty minute drive for Orrville. That's quite a long drive, but something we knew was possible in a region as spread out as Region 14.
A bigger issue here is the lack of facilities in Western Ohio to host this game. All regional finals must be played on turf, and other than Tiffin, Ashland and Fremont, there aren't too many turf fields in between us and Ottawa that I know of.
Looking a little closer at the stadium itself, it's a 4500 seat stadium that has adequate seating on both sides (a welcome relief after dealing with the seating disparity at Ashland last night), take a look here. The state sets up playoff brackets so that no matter the seed, the team on the top of the bracket is the home team, meaning we'll again be the visiting team, even though we're the higher seed.
Here are directions as listed on Heidelberg College's website....
Exit U.S. 30 merging onto S.R. 53 north. Continue North on S.R. 53 to Tiffin. Turn right onto S.R.18 (East Market Street). Make a right on Greenfield Street.
Nevermind those terrible directions....that would take you to their old field.
Here's some updated directions:
Take Rt 30 west - exit on to Rt 100 North - Take a left onto 224 W - Right on to County Rd 19 (becomes Sycamore St, you'll probably see stadium lights from here) - left on Union St - Stadium will be on the right. You're on your own when it comes to parking. I'm assuming jungle rules.
If you want to walk the 90 miles or so, it'll take you 28 hours, so plan accordingly.

Hey Riders fans, if interested lets meet at Carmies Sports bar before the game and party together. The address is 2458 S State Route 231 in Tiffin. It is right off Rt 224 and 1.3 miles from the stadium. Lets show up in numbers and let the town of Tiffin know the Red Riders are here!!!!! See you there if you want! We will be there by 430 or 5. If Ottawa fans show up, they will know Orrville travels well. Go Riders!!!!!!
The owner of Carmies sent an email back that they would love to entertain Riders fans. Show up and hang out together as fans and show Tiffin what we are all about. They can accomodate many people. See you there hopefully!!!!!
I go to Heidelberg University which is in Tiffin, Ohio and I do believe a fast way of getting to the game is if you take 30 West to 100 North Sandusky exit and that will take you into Tiffin as well. 100 is very curvy though but it only takes about an hour and a half
