Two Orrville alumni QB's had big weekends in the college ranks.
Tim Hiller tied the Western Michigan school record for career touchdown passes in a 58-26 win over Toledo. For the game he threw for 270 yards and 3 TD, giving him 87 for his career, tying him with Tim Lester. The 87 TD passes are also good enough for 3rd all-time in the MAC, with the record being 100 held by Chad Pennington.
Tim & the Broncos face Central Michigan this Saturday in a big matchup in Kalamazoo.
Ohio Northern's Kyle Simmons was named the OAC Player of the Week for his performance in a 38-7 win over Heidelberg. He threw for 280 yds and a TD, and ran for 65 yards and 3 TD's.
Kyle is 2nd in the OAC in total offense per game, averaging 258.8 yds per game.
